Rancho Lagarto is located in the Guanacaste province of Costa Rica
in the sleepy fishing village of Lagarto. Boasting stunning panoramic
ocean views and a backdrop of dense tropical forests it’s no
wonder why this region is named the “Gold Coast” deemed
the most desirable region of the country. This hillside ocean view
development sits directly in between two rapidly developing towns,
Junquillal and Marbella each just 15 minutes to the north or south.
Getting to Rancho Lagarto is easy, from the San Jose International
Airport, you have the choice of taking a 40-minute commuter flight
to the airstrip in nearby Tamarindo and you’re at the property
in 45 minutes or renting a car for a scenic 3.5-hour drive across
the mountains to Rancho Lagarto. The most convenient option is to
fly into the Liberia International Airport (Daniel Oduber Quiros Airport).
From there you can make the drive to Rancho Lagarto in 1 hour 15 minutes.
International Airport is now seeing 85 flights per week from all major
carriers and will be expanding further in the near future.
